What we take on

Service and panel upgrades — including three-phase where the licence covers it
Tenant fit-out and build-out rough-in — added circuits, relocations, equipment hookups
Repair and fault-finding — breakers, receptacles, circuit faults, intermittent trips
Standby generators — sizing, transfer switch, permit, commissioning
EV charging — workplace and multi-unit, on a properly sized service
Warehouse and shop lighting — high-bay and low-bay LED, retrofits from metal halide or fluorescent, and the layout to go with it
Parking lot and site lighting — pole and wall-pack fixtures, photocells and timers, LED retrofits, and lamps that have stopped working
Surge protection at the service, which matters more with equipment on site

What it costs

Most commercial work is quoted, in writing, before anything starts. Where a job genuinely can’t be quoted up front. Fault-finding in a building we don’t know, typically, it’s $125 an hour, agreed with you first.

Rough-in on an open-wall build-out runs $6 to $7 a square foot.

Permit fees are inside the quoted price, along with coordinating with Alabama Power on a service change. We don’t take deposits, you’re invoiced when the work is done.

Credentials, before you ask

Most panels we open have a directory card that’s either blank or forty years out of date. Every circuit gets tested and hand-labelled on the way out, which is the difference between finding the right breaker in ten seconds during an emergency and pulling the whole house down to find it.

Working with us

What sort of commercial work do you take?

Wiring, power and repair. Service and panel upgrades, added circuits, equipment hookups, tenant fit-out rough-in, troubleshooting, generators and EV charging. If it carries current, it’s us.

What don't you do?

Fire alarm systems, security cameras, and low voltage or data cabling. Those are separate specialties and we’d rather tell you now than take the job.

How do you price commercial work?

Are you insured to work on our property?

$1,000,000 general liability with Travelers. We’ll send a certificate naming your property before we start just ask. License AL #06957, and we hold a master card with the City of Mobile.

Do you take a deposit?

No. Not on commercial work either. You’re invoiced when the job is done.

Can you work outside business hours?

For a shutdown or a changeover that can’t happen during normal business hours, yes, by arrangement. We’re not a 24-hour emergency service and won’t pretend otherwise.

Most of what we do is houses
